10 of 14 women killed are of foreign origin.
In Norway committed a growing number of partner homicide. The killings as rare until the newspaper front page. In Norway's largest newspaper VG today I read an article by Shazia Sarma that deserves attention. She says among other things:

Immigrant women are more prone to more partnerships murder. Many say this has to do with culture. It is wrong and cowardly.

Obviously culture plays a role. I come from a patriarchal culture. In my culture is wife abuse a family affair and the woman is always to blame.

"You leave your parents' house as the bride, you should leave your husband's house in a coffin" is detkjent Indian and Pakistani proverb, as applicable today as it was centuries ago.

In Pakistan it means to leave the marriage that she ends up on the street, or at best become a thorn in the eye of their fathers and brothers.

600 million women in the world live in a country where women is not punishable. Many immigrants in Norway come from these areas in South Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

It's about culture. We leave no culture when crossing the border.

Do not underestimate the Norwegians, most people realize that not all immigrants are potensialle wife beaters. But too many are not.

I enjoyed this article. It is narrated by a woman who knows what she is talking about.
